I'm working on it...

Yeah, that's right. I'm working on it.

Trying to come up with something interesting to say on this here old blog. Truth be told, I'm having a hard time coming up with anything.

I lieu of anything truly interesting or entertaining, here's a quick rundown of the "recent" happenings (in no particular order, other than by which they came to mind):

1. I worked.
A.) At the paper. (Nothing new at all to report there).
B.) At the bar. (Nothing of note there, either).

2. I went on one, single, solitary, lame-ass trip. To Spokane. Where I was victimized by cruel hotel lobby staff, pushy bums and uppity bartenders.
It was not entertaining and nothing came of it.

3. I got numerous interesting phone messages from friends who are actually out in the world doing interesting things. The most notable being from a bar in Chicago. The friend in question was drinking bourbon with blues legend Buddy Guy. His recommendation to me: "Ha! Feel jealous. Feel really, really jealous." He is on an Amtrack trip around the country.
I was very jealous.

4. I enjoyed the holidays.
A.) I got a terrible cold/flu right in time for Christmas and spent much of the holiday laying on people's couches.
B.) I worked at the bar on New Year's Eve.

5. I consolidated my student loans. Well, half of them. Yet I was still late in paying them.

6. I ate meals; smoked cigarettes; drank water, soda and alcohol; listened to music here and there; breathed; drove a vehicle; watched movies; went to dinner parties; checked mail; went to bars; drew cartoons; and generally existed without much incident.

So there you have it. My Life In A Nutshell. More to come in the near-ish future (God willing).

Bah.
